FAMILY DEMENTIA CONSULTATIONS

We offer one-on-one consulting and group/family consulting in person, by phone, or via video. When a loved one is diagnosed with dementia, it can be hard to know what to expect. We'll provide you will important need-to-know information and helpful resources. Book a consultation today or contact us with your questions.

DEMENTIA CAREGIVERS SUPPORT GROUP

We have teamed up with Central MN Dementia Community Action Network (D-CAN) to host a dementia caregiver support group on the third Tuesday of each month. Come hear practical tips and listen to other caregivers share their stories and concerns in a safe and supportive environment.

Support Group Details:
  • Occurs on the third Tuesday of each month from 9 am-10 am

  • Cost is free and is open to the public

ADDITIONAL EDUCATIONAL TRAINING

Looking for additional training? We offer two information classes for families and caregivers to deepen their knowledge of dementia. These classes are offered in-person or virtually. To book a class, contact us.

Dementia Awareness Training
We promote Dementia Awareness that aims to help reduce the social stigma that is associated with dementia through practical education and interactive stories of real-life experiences. Participants will learn the 10 most common signs of Alzheimer’s disease, the leading form of dementia. A brief overview of common types of dementia and their differences along with useful communication tips will be addressed.

Health living Options, Can They Reduce Our Risk
We will discuss some recent research that gives us attainable, actionable recommendations that can help us all live healthier lives. Learn healthy lifestyle choices that may reduce our risk of cognitive decline and other symptoms that are associated with dementia.
